Ceramic Honeycomb
The ceramic honeycomb made in a single piece hence it called the ceramic monolith. Ceramic monolith used in the exhaust control industry where effluent gas purified with this. We supply bare as well as catalyst coated ceramic honeycombs. It comes in a variety of dimensions and shapes such as cylindrical and cuboidal shape. There is a different cell density ceramic filter as per application. Majorly 100cpsi, 200 cpsi, 400 cpsi and 600 cpsi ceramic honeycomb used to controlled emissions. The hole shape of honeycomb is rectangular having fragile wall thickness with the higher open frontal area. The suitable catalyst is coated as per the requirement to make it a catalytic converter. It is also used in the manufacture of diesel particulate filter (DPF) and as a metal filter.
